Media campaign for the film “Vichnyk”

Task

To support the philosophical film “Vichnyk” with media promotion.

Our goal wasn’t just to announce the premiere, but to spark curiosity and build anticipation even before the screenings began — all during the darkest winter in recent history.

Strategy

To be everywhere, all at once. We opted for a short but high-intensity launch with maximum media pressure ahead of the opening week. The focus was on rapid reach and building early buzz around the film through media, press, and bloggers.

Execution

The campaign ran across several channels simultaneously:

• placements on large screens in shopping malls and digital billboards,

• teaser launches on social media,

• an exclusive pre-premiere screening for the press, complete with special press kits. Inside, we included a custom immersive card deck featuring philosophical quotes from the film.

At the same time, bloggers received identical press kits and began sharing their impressions and intriguing details — amplifying anticipation and building the desire to attend the screenings.

Result

The campaign helped generate interest in “Vichnyk” even before its theatrical release and secured a strong opening week in cinemas.

Thanks to precise targeting of the book’s readers and pre-premiere audiences, it delivered over 25 million impressions… and extended the film’s theatrical run by four weeks.

As of February 2026, the film is preparing for its international release.
